Sensitive skin tends to react to friction, heat and trapped moisture. A soft, open-weave fabric helps on all three: muslin is light against the skin, lets air circulate so skin stays drier, and moves with the body instead of chafing. We sew with flat seams and finish with child-safe dyes and no harsh chemical finishes, which removes some common sources of irritation.
Breathability matters especially in the heat, when damp, clingy fabric can leave skin hot and unhappy. A loose muslin onesie or romper lets warmth and sweat escape, which many parents of babies prone to heat rash find more comfortable than dense or synthetic clothing.
This is comfort, not a cure. If your baby has eczema, persistent rashes or a diagnosed skin condition, follow your paediatrician or dermatologist’s advice on fabrics, detergents and care — clothing choice can support their comfort but is not a substitute for medical guidance.
